New Forest Parenting Programme
for ADHD
The New Forest Parenting Programme (NFPP) is a highly respected, evidence-based course designed for parents and carers of children with ADHD. Developed by clinical psychologists, it has been recognised and delivered internationally for over two decades and is widely regarded as one of the leading parent support programmes for families of children with ADHD.
NFPP combines behavioural strategies with a deep understanding of ADHD and family life. The course focuses on strengthening parent–child relationships, improving attention and behaviour, and reducing stress at home — helping families build practical tools they can use every day.
We are proud to be the recommended course deliverer for the New Forest Parenting Programme. Our team has updated and enhanced the course to reflect the real-world experiences and needs of today’s parents and carers.
We also supported the development of the brand-new teen version and wrote the accompanying handbook, ensuring the programme remains practical, relatable and effective for the families we support.

Re:Minds brings a rare blend of professional training and lived experience. Our facilitators are trained peer support workers with specialist knowledge in autism, ADHD and mental health. We’ve spent over a decade working alongside CAMHS, schools and neurodiversity services, so we understand both the theory and the reality for families.
We don’t just deliver these courses — we adapt them to reflect the real-world needs of the families and professionals we support. That means everything we teach is practical, compassionate and rooted in experience.

The difference our courses make
'Re:Minds have delivered neurodiversity training courses for parents, for Southampton City Council over the last 18 months. They are professional in their approach, adaptable and willing to listen, meeting the needs of both parents/carers and the local authority. The courses have been well attended, and received, as they not only deliver high quality content but also facilitators bring their vast lived and professional experience of the challenges of parenting children and young people with neurodiverse conditions. Courses have consistent outcomes such as attendees saying that they now feel better equipped to communicate, interact and understand their child. Families say they are now better able to cope after completing a course, and going away with a toolkit of strategies and resources to see them into the future.'
